Service that was provided was good value, efficient and professional even though I left it at short notice

Marie not only ensured the safety and wellbeing of me and my partner, she went above and beyond to provide her front line medical knowledge due to a knee injury I sustained a week ago. Marie has a wonderfully friendly nature and kindness that I feel privileged to have experienced, and has restored my faith in humanity! We used for paramedic to cover the Holmfirth Festival of Folk in May 2023. They were simply fabulous, very professional, approachable, friendly and super efficient. They were an honour to deal with, they dealt with any questions and were very knowledgeable within their industry, true experts in their field, and helped us also with many aspects of event guidance. They were their in a very timely manner, and were very organised. We received a lot of compliments from the Committee members, Volunteers and the public to how wonderful they were. They put the organisers at ease knowing they could cover basic to serious situations if they arose, due to the extensive amount of equipment they carry. Marie and Steve from SSGL were providing medical cover at a Flyball competition I was recently attending. I’m a long term orthopaedic patient with mobility issues and a sense that I can do more than is sensible! This sense (or maybe lack of it) lead me to have a bad fall on the leg that has been receiving treatment. Marie’s initial assessment at the fall site, with Steve’s support, then further detailed assessment back at my caravan was superb and faultlessly professional. Marie & Steve then, despite being quite busy, took the time to check in on me the following morning and not only that, but insisted on doing a wound check on a pre-existing surgery wound as my wife was concerned about it. If Marie and Steve are representative of standard of medical cover provided by SSGL, then I highly recommend their services.

Lead Paramedic Marie attended 2 BFA Championship Events with other members of staff. All staff were simply fantastic and went above and beyond in caring for our members.
